Soup for the soul. Cattlemen’s BBQ sauce elevates this classic soup with sweet, spicy, and tangy notes for a tasty twist that will wow. Simple and cost effective, this recipe is quick to make, even on a larger scale. Take a look at DJ BBQ whipping up this soup up on YouTube @McCormickForChefsUK
Set up a kettle grill with a one third coal bed running about at 190 degree C.
Lay out all the veg on a tray and drizzle over Cattlemen’s BBQ sauce.
Place onto the indirect side of the grill and roast for about 45 minutes until rich and golden.
Remove from the grill. Blitz the veg, add a little plain yogurt / cream and mix together.
Add a little extra Cattlemen’s BBQ to flavour. Drizzle in some single cream and top with Croutons to finish.
Serve with some fresh bread and enjoy.
CHEF’s TIP
!
This is a great recipe for tweaking; simply add more Cattlemen’s BBQ for an extra kick of that sweet molasses, hickory vibe, or include less for a more authentic red pepper and tomato soup.
