In a heavy bottom pot over medium heat add butter and onions. Sauté until translucent. Add blueberries and brown sugar and cook until blueberries start to break down. Cool.
In a blender combine blueberry mixture, balsamic glaze, and BBQ sauce. Hold hot for service or refrigerate and reheat for service.
